A Day in the life of a Shift Leader
- Lead and coach team members to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest service
- Assist planning and leading completion of all job tasks and ensures adherence to food safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- Utilize all training tools to provide team members with exceptional training in all aspects of the operation.
- Assist in maintaining the cafe's equipment and facility.
- Assist in administrative tasks (cash deposits, safe counts, inventory).
- Ability to resolve guest complaints and turn into a positive.
- Monitor the cafe's cleanliness at all times (interior and exterior) and initiate clean-up as needed.
- Attend regularly scheduled leadership meeting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have supervisory experience in a fast food or quick casual concept.
- Must be able to close the cafe 2 or 3 nights per week.
- Must be hands-on. Pitch-in wherever needed.
- Must Lead by Example.
- Must always put the guest first.
