Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, you will work with a team of approximately 6 staff members at The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in Calabasas, CA. As the Shipping Freezer Controller, you will be responsible for the material handling equipment operation for the freezer storage area including receiving finished goods from production and entering them into the system for a bakery with more than 600 staff members that create delicious cheesecakes and memorable experiences.

Qualifications
What we require
- 3+ years of experience in material handling.
- 3+ years of experience with stand-up and pallet-jack forklifts.
- Stand-up and pallet-jack forklift certifications.
- Basic Math skills.
- Experience using a hand-held scanner.
- High Safety Awareness.
- Flexibility to work different shifts when needed.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
What we prefer
- Experience with UPS World Ship program.
- Experience working in a freezer environment.
Responsibilities
Here’s more of what you’ll get to do
- Physically receive finished goods inventory from production.
- Use Handheld scanner to enter finished goods inventory into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Wrap finished goods inventory and place in racks for storage in the finished goods freezer.
- Assist in loading transfer orders of finished goods inventory to outside storage.
- Assist in fulfilling UPS, sample and employee sales orders.
- Work in collaboration throughout the day with the Production and Quality Assurance staff.
