Social Media Coordinator Job at Cascades Healthcare
Cascades Healthcare is a Provo, UT based owner/operator of skilled nursing facilities in Utah, Idaho, and Texas. We are actively searching for an experienced Events/Social Media Coordinator to plan, orchestrate, and host external and internal events:
- External events should enhance company notoriety & reputation in the community.
- Internal corporate events should promote unity and help strengthen interpersonal relationships and improve employee retention.
- Events will be held both on-site and at other locations as appropriate.
Actively promote a solid company social media presence, host educational webinars, and create the monthly company newsletter. This position includes networking with local business owners, charitable organizations/foundations, and education resources to offer our activity and meeting rooms to the community. The Event Coordinator works to achieve Cascades Healthcare goals of supporting the community and improving awareness and familiarity to our facilities and services.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
- Networks in the community to build rapport and interest in facilities
- Plans events for the facility and community members
- Actively utilize social media to create a positive social media presence for facilities
- Accomplishes job duties with little supervision
- Uses public relations skills to respond to positive or negative interactions with tact
- Other Duties as necessary and assigned
- Organize and create the periodic company newsletter
Qualifications
- History of positive networking and building meaningful relationships
- Prior experience planning and executing corporate events
- Strong social media acumen
- Strong writing ability
- Capacity to think creatively to find "out of the box" solutions
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree or related healthcare experience
- Two to five years of recent event planning and networking
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50 lbs. unassisted
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility which includes an annual TB screening and physical examination.
