Social Worker Inpatient (LSW/LMSW/LCSW) Job at Circle of Life Hospice
This position will support weekend operations.

The Social Worker is an integral part of the Interdisciplinary team, responsible for the development and oversight of a plan of care for an assigned group of patients'/families' psychosocial, financial, and emotional needs. Provides coverage for the inpatient and/or outpatient Hospice program as needed. Liaisons with community resources to find support for the patient/families as needed. Flexibility with schedule to accommodate the patient and organization needs. Assists with mentoring of interns and other students. Assists with facilitating bereavement programs as needed. All Social work care will be delivered under the guidance of the best standard of practice, COL's policy and procedure and the Arkansas Social Work licensure board.
Requirements: Current Arkansas Social Work license without restriction. Emotionally mature, objective, sensitive to people and their problems, able to handle responsibility, work independently, and maintain good working relationships with patients, families and coworkers. Bilingual abilities a plus. Excellent computer, phone, reading, writing, and communicating skills required. Ability to organize information, time and workload to optimize efficiency. Ability to work outside normal office hours, including call coverage, and to handle emergencies as required in order to meet needs of patients and families. Good working knowledge of the Social Work scope of practice and regulations. Satisfactory results of a current TB skin test, annual TB fit test, and annual flu vaccine required. Knowledge of dynamics of death and dying, bereavement and end of life issues preferred. Experience in a hospice or healthcare environment preferred.

Schedule: 10 Hour days with rotating call expectations
