Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Drive applications systems analysis and programming activities. Work with Applications Development teams to accomplish establish goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team (e.g., performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions). Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications. Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects. Contribute to the formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations. Impact the Applications Development area by monitoring the delivery of end results, participating in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy. Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Utilizing full Software Development Lifecycle to analyze, design, develop, and test high-quality software; Utilizing Ab Initio ETL tool to perform Data Mapping and Transformation, create custom graphs for complex scenarios, create reusable components, and load data from Source to Target Databases in complex, high-volume environments; Performing Bi Temporal Data warehouse development and maintenance; Building J2EE-based applications using Spring and Hibernate frameworks; Developing and integrating web services using REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML; Driving flexible and strategic insights into Human Capital Management (HCM) data in support of business imperatives and objectives; and Harmonizing and consolidating strategic HCM data from upstream systems, performing data validation and cleanup using Unix Shell scripts and AbInitio.
