LabVIEW Software Test Engineer

Candidate will fill the role of LabVIEW and/or TestStand Software Engineer within our Test Development organization. The candidate will be responsible for developing test software hosted on in-house designed test stations. Candidate will write drivers for test equipment and code tests used to validate hardware from circuit cards, to sub-system components and up to space vehicles. Candidate will generate required documentation including analysis and design trade studies, as well as participate in major design gate reviews including PDR and CDR.

This role will require the creation of creative solutions and will require the interaction between multiple functional disciplines, including quality, product design and systems engineering, in order to meet program milestones and financial objectives. We value engineers who prioritize standardization and reuse and can balance those values with program schedule demands. The candidate will also participate in software validation and selloff. The candidate may support the resolution of anomalies related to the software design.

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant experience in avionics or space hardware test
• Experience with LabView and/or TestStand

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Skills for the ATE Software Design Engineers:

• Look for people who specifically have experience writing National Instruments TestStand and/or LabVIEW code.
• Look for people who are certified: Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD), Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD), Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA), Certified TestStand Developer (CTD).
• A home run candidate would know the software tools, but also have very strong hands on experience integrating with hardware.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
