KOTA is looking for the most dedicated Installers in the trade industry and will offer competitive compensation to hire them. The Installer is responsible for following company procedures and directions to complete the installation of solar equipment each day. This position requires full fulfillment of company standards in Safety, Quality and Company Efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Insuring the highest Quality installation of all solar components
• Follows directions from Roof Leads, Foreman and other employees to best manage time and complete tasks
• Meets compliance to company PPE and Safety regulations during all task
• Able to work with fellow employees in a healthy, constructive, and respectful way
• Represents the company core values (become, create, give) and general mission
• Ability to take constructive criticism and feedback to improve skills in needed areas
• Organize equipment and materials to support the efficiency of each days project
• Manages time and attendance applications and policies
• Report any and all incidents and injuries to direct leadership immediately

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights with no issues (while being safe)
• Ability to make decisions that will positively impact the crew and company
• Basic understanding of solar and construction
• Highschool diploma or equivalent a plus
• Familiarity with OSHA standards a plus
• Valid driver's license required (clean driving record required)
• 1+ year in construction or trades
• Ability to use hand and power tools required
• Ability to lift weights up to 55 lbs on a regular basis (and follow basic ergonomics)
• Ability to do repetitive tasks and be mindful of the physical impact that can have and take the necessary (self guided) precautions such as stretching and training
• Must have a good attitude and general willingness to improve as a human and employee

Prospective Employees of KOTA Construction must submit to a criminal history check, motor vehicles check, and obtain clearance from the state based upon local requirements.
