Solution Architect Job at Piper Companies
Piper Companies is currently seeking a Solutions Architect for a top 5 US homebuilder that is based out of Reston, VA. The Solution Architect will create deliverables that guide the developing direction for a solution (that include applications, technologies, processes and information) and provide necessary leadership, design and analysis tasks related to the improvement of the solution. This role is 100% on site located in Reston, VA.
Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:
- Design and lead implementation of a solutions architecture across business applications or technologies based on enterprise strategy
- Apply principles, guidelines and standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise future-state architecture vison
- Monitor current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by a solution
Qualifications of the Solution Architect:
- Minimum of 12 years of hands on design and implementation of business solutions
- Understanding of application development methodologies, infrastructure and network architecture
- Experience with multiple parts of a tech stack
Compensation of the Solutions Architect:
- The salary ranges from 170,000-200,000 based on years of experience
