CREATIVE CONTENT COPYWRITER

South Street Partners’ in-house creative team is seeking an independent contractor to serve as Creative Content Copywriter. This person will write and maintain fresh content for the creative team and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate’s words will inform and engage target audiences across multiple brands and platforms within the luxury real estate industry. We are a rapidly growing company and the person in this role will be integral to that growth.


Our ideal candidate is a creative, innovative, and adept writer with experience in conceptual marketing prose. If you are a highly motivated self-starter who can grasp project requirements quickly and have experience in real estate, hospitality and/or lifestyle marketing, we’d like to hear from you.


Submit up to three writing samples that you feel best represent your work and versatility or provide a link to your online portfolio.


JOB OUTLINE:

  • Develop and maintain brand-right copy for a wide variety of mediums including, but not limited to: advertising campaigns, websites, brochures, emails, blogs, social posts, while adhering to commonly used style guides
  • Collaborate with Creative Director, Directors of Marketing, Brokerage Sales Managers, Creative and Production teams in creating content
  • Interpret creative briefs to best understand project requirements
  • Create original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews as needed
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed
  • Utilize SEO principles to maximize messaging’s reach Assist with monthly social media content for clients, written to excite and engage the respective audiences
  • Perform other duties as assigned


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in copywriting or related role
  • Excellent conceptual writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Creative and collaborative spirit
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational practices
  • Results-oriented self-starter who asks pertinent questions to procure information when needed
  • Resilience and ability to accept constructive feedback
  • Experience in fast paced setting a plus
  • Understanding of GSuite and project management tools a plus
