Special Procedures Rad Tech/IR Tech Job at Lawrence General Hospital

The Special Procedures Technologist Provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/ or treatment of anatomic physiologic disorders.
Performs specialized techniques, including vascular and neurological radiographic procedures. Maintains a working knowledge of the use and locations of all catheters and guidewires used in special procedures. Accurately loads and programs IV contrast injector according to the Radiologist's specification and assists radiologist by accurately assisting in the exchange of guidewires and catheters.
Requires MA Radiologic Technologist license and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with proficiency in all areas of radiography to include routine diagnostic, operating room, portable, trauma and fluoroscopic procedures. Prefer Interventional vascular certification by ARRT.
