The Village of Rantoul is hiring for part-time/seasonal Maintenance Staff at our Sports Complex.
Maintenance Staff will be responsible for the general organization and cleanliness of the Rantoul Family Sports Complex. Will work closely with organizers that have rented the facility for an event. Job Responsibilities
  • Prep and setup fields and facilities
  • Monitor and clean bathrooms and public space throughout the facility
  • Clean public areas and remove trash
  • Assist staff with keeping concession stands prepped and stocked
  • Assist with parking and traffic flow
Requirements
  • Comfortable and engaging with all who enter our facility
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Maintain professional interaction while explaining and enforcing safety policies and facilities rules of use
  • Ability to work independently, possess initiative, and has a strong multi-tasking skill
  • Must be able to work effectively in a group setting
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts and communicate scheduling needs/changes effectively to supervisor
  • Valid state of Illinois driver"s license
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable in outdoor conditions and prepared to work in bad weather Qualifications

  • Ability to work calmly and collectively in a fast-pace environment
