As a Senior Manager, Brand Education you are responsible for developing, implementing and managing high quality learning content across all channels at BeautyCounter. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Education and requires exceptional project management and writing skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for the beauty industry, is creative, a strategic thinker that's solution driven, prefers detailed-oriented work, has extensive experience and thrives in creating education content for skincare and color categories. This position requires outstanding organizational skills, a self-starter that's capable of multi-tasking with high level projects, while partnering with various cross functional teams. Having a passion for product knowledge with a business mindset is critical for successful results. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team developing new digital education tools and programs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Senior Director, Product Education to manage and develop all education programs and resources including new launch, core products and digital learning tools for all channels
- Conceptualize, design and write a variety of education assets such as 1 pager, learning videos, scripts, animations and gamification for immersive digital learning
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to foster positive outcomes and align with goals to strategically conceptualize education needs
- Partner with product marketing to conceptualize content for new innovations and tailor needs based on channel requirements
- Strategize and implement education based on needs analysis for all channels
- Update and enrich educational resources for all channels
- Assist with the creation of online learning tools and assets
- Write scripts, create story boards and assist with video execution on location
- Partner with internal and external teams to co-create graphics and animations that are aligned with learning objectives
- Deliver trainings or webinars when needed
- Assist with analyzing and monitoring KPIs to ensure successful results
- Proactively develop skills, bring forward new ideas to create a high standard of innovative educational content which contributes to overall business goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience with beauty industry education development in skincare and color
- Experience developing impactful training programs leading to successful business results
- Experience fostering relationships with corporate cross functional teams to align on strategies
- Proficient in creating digital education content such as 1 pager, training guides, scripts, online learning content videos and curriculum
- Very strong writing skills
- Must demonstrate a unique and personalized education approach to content creation with the understanding of adult learning theories
- Knowledge of industry beauty trends, skincare and make up application technique a plus
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Excellent project management skills, ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet competing deadlines while delivering high quality content
- Familiar with the retail environment
- Have an innovative mindset with the ability to quickly and successfully adapt to change
- Ability to plan, create, manage and deliver multiple, concurrent, and complex work
- Exceptional facilitation and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign
- Ability to travel by car and plane for business purposes
- Must be willing to relocate or currently lives within close proximity to the corporate office to assist with video execution on location
- Knowledge of clean beauty industry and business acumen preferred
- Esthetician license is a plus
Pay: $84k – $136k for work locations in the United States, with individual pay determined by several factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, and training. Salary ranges are determined in good faith by role, level, and location. As a remote-eligible job, a narrower salary range for a candidate's preferred location may be available.
Bonus: Additional compensation includes an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
