The Sr Manager of Quality & Compliance will coordinate and implement the daily operation of the organization’s transportation compliance functions in accordance with all federal, state, regulations, policies, and procedures. Their duties include coordinating with company management to monitor and measure quality performance. Responsibilities include training department leaders in identifying continuous improvement opportunities, developing corrective actions, and implementing change management strategies to achieve quality, performance, and compliance goals.

In this role, the Senior Manager would be responsible for maintaining a productive and motivating work environment, orchestrating a consistently high-level of service while mentoring others. The Sr. Manager will demonstrate a commitment to quality performance that excels at exceeding employee and customer satisfaction expectations.

The Senior Manager is expected to set and maintain standards for excellent performance and achieve their objectives by establishing well-thought-out standard processes while seeking continuous improvement. This requires organizational skills and the ability to fully utilize systems and automation to manage daily activities, projects, and programs.

  Manage compliance and Quality Management System/Corrective Action Reporting
  Maintain company’s ISO Certification and conduct ISO Audits to keep the organization in compliance with ISO 9001:2015

• Be familiar with and apply regulations (e.g., FDA, EPA, - ADD/CVD and CBP) for import/export on a global level, remaining current with changes to local regulations
• Uphold Company’s policies and standards, ensures internal and external laws and regulations are followed by communicating with team members and make sure everyone is aware of what is expected of them
• Manage the Company’s insurance sales and claims management
• Responsible for the Business Continuity Planning & Safety
• Master programs such as ISO, continuous improvement processes and documented work instructions
• Mentor, monitor and measure team members to develop organized, productive and quality-orientated individuals that will create a sustainable, consistent and growth-oriented environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and industry.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge and experience with ISO programs and audits
• Knowledge and experience with transportation quality improvement processes
• Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing the transportation industry
• Excellent risk assessment skills, project management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong moral integrity, promoting the importance of complying with rules and regulations
• Proven ability to represent the organization and liaison with representatives of the US Govt. and local law enforcement agencies
• Continuous improvement skills (e.g., root cause & corrective action planning)
• Enables team members to grow and succeed through setting clear expectations, reviewing progress, providing feedback, instruction, and encouragement, and holding people accountable
• Exemplifies outstanding leadership qualities, including interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence skills. Promotes the organizational mission and goals and shows the way to achieve them.
• Excellent analytical skills. Understands human, financial, and operational resources issues to make decisions aimed at building and planning efficient overall company performance.
• US Customs brokerage license preferred
• NCBFAA's Certified Export Specialist preferred
• Advanced proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range $110,000 -$120,000
