The Sr Manager of Talent Management is responsible for the creation and execution of Paycom’s talent strategy and oversees enterprise-wide efforts to identify and address talent priorities within the organization. This position will also lead and manage a team who builds, deploys and maintains programs that support an environment where all employees can learn, grow and perform at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of individuals and/or people managers who develop, initiate and maintain scalable programs focused on organizational design, workforce planning, talent selection, performance management, succession planning and internal mobility
  • Provide professional expertise and oversight in the development and implementation of all talent management program areas
  • Coach and advise senior leaders, HR Business Partners and talent development team on deploying Paycom’s talent strategy
  • Ensure that diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices are woven into the entire talent management lifecycle
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management and performance management initiatives are focused and aligned with improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Work closely with the HR Analytics team to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pools and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate level
  • Collaborate with product management teams to shape the future of the Paycom system
  • Create and maintain talent management budget and manage contracts and vendor relationships
  • Conduct presentations and training as needed

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in training, leadership development or talent management
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources/Organizational Development Behavior/Training or a related field
  • Korn Ferry certifications (Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, Talent Selection and Talking Talent)

Experience:

  • Experience designing competency frameworks, succession planning, performance management, and/or talent development programs

Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven success in coaching, developing and motivating others
  • Ability to prioritize and direct the work of experienced professionals
  • Prior experience in Organizational Development, Training & Development, Leadership Development, Talent Management or as an HR Business Partner
  • Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Experience creating PowerPoint, using audio/video to create leadership training content
  • Demonstrates knowledge of HR practices that promote career growth and retention
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the classroom facilitation and coaching methodologies
  • Proven success with utilizing feedback and direction to modify goals and projects
