What We Need:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading one or more major printer project teams or multiple minor printer project teams consisting of professionals from multiple functional areas (technical, marketing, manufacturing, etc.) by following the NPD Process and using the tools and disciplines of project management. The person is responsible for overall project execution including scope definition, resource planning, coordinating the activities of various functional areas, budgeting, risk assessment and mitigation planning, task planning, timeline setting, project status reporting, and phase gate presentations. The Senior Project Manager will establish clear roles and responsibilities for all team members and provide timely and effective communication to team members and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and deliver one or more major printer projects or multiple minor printer projects by following the NPD Process and using the tools and disciplines of project management
- Own overall project execution including scope definition, resource planning, coordinating the activities of various functional areas, budgeting, risk assessment and mitigation planning, task planning, timeline setting, project status reporting, and phase gate presentations
- Lead, own, and drive project teams to meet product requirements (performance, cost, and quality)
- Collaborate and influence across cross-functional product development teams (technical, marketing, manufacturing, etc) to achieve project goals
- Coordinate executive project reviews and communicate effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders
- Support post launch/sustaining activities
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally to Brady manufacturing plants as required (5%)
- Performs other duties as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the tasks listed on this job description.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- S. in engineering or equivalent field of study
- Minimum of 6 years technical lead and/or project management experience required
- Experience working in a new product development setting, working and delivering products with R&D
- Experience with NPD phase/stage gate process
Desired Characteristics: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to communicate technical and manufacturing progress to the business team and all levels of management/stakeholders
- Experience with procedures and process documentation within a phase gate system
- Experience leading and interfacing with external resources and partners
- Experience launching products globally
- Experience leading an international team
- Experience with complex electromechanical systems
