Perks, Pay, & Benefits

  • Pay $72,000 with 9% annual bonus

Day to Day Overview:
General Ledger

  • Assist with month-end close
  • Assist with the year-end audit
  • Assist with Revenue by Sales reports
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and cash receipts
  • Assist with year-end inventory count

Accounts Receivable

  • Enter all customer invoicing after thorough review of Sales order and shipping paperwork
  • Set up new customers and maintain customer cards
  • Communicate with customers to collect payments
  • Research and resolve AR issues related to invoicing

Accounts Payable

  • Conduct AP processing including coding invoices to the G/L
  • Manage a 3-way match transaction
  • Process and reconcile monthly credit card statements to ensure compliance with company policies and process payments
  • Responsible for month-end close process for Accounts Payable
  • Process weekly check runs and ACH payments
  • Respond to Vendor inquires and process all vendor requests
  • Review vendor statements; research and correct discrepancies monthly
  • Maintain vendor files and request new COI before expiration
  • Set up new vendors in Great Plains (GP) and ensure all new vendor paperwork is received
  • Work with Purchasing Coordinator on purchase orders
  • Assist Senior Accountant with annual 1099 preparation
  • Investigate and research all discrepancies external and internal
  • Assist in year-end audit and Inventory cycle counts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred with a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a Finance department
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Experience and clear understanding of general ledger and coding invoices
  • Experience in Accounts Payable coding and processing
  • Manufacturing experience highly desired
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics Great Plains
  • Excel-must be able to create pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
