The Budget Act of 2021 provided a significant and historic total of more than $2 billion for the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) to provide grant funds to counties, tribes, and other eligible entities to establish, continue, and expand housing and homelessness assistance programs to serve clients of local social service agencies with housing supports over the next two budget years. HHD is undergoing extraordinary growth and officially transitioned from a Branch to a Division on July 1st, 2022

Staff will have the opportunity to help expand and develop this evolving team. We seek candidates who are energetic and mission-driven to assist and lead our team into a new future.
