Job Overview
The role of the Staffing Coordinator is to schedule nurses with patients in a timely manner. A successful Staffing Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast paste environment. The goal is to ensure that the company’s staffing requirements are always met, and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Investigate pharmacies staffing needs and take action to staff accordingly
- Schedule, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
- Work with other staff members to fulfill the needs of patients and nurses’ schedules
- Identify hard to fill schedules and take proactive actions
- Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patietns and pharmacies
- Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
- Update nurses’ calendars daily
Qualifications
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Communicate in a timely manner
