Substitute School Nurse22-23 School YearChamplain Valley School District The Champlain Valley School District seeks an on-call RN to serve as substitute school nurse for the 2022-2023 school year. In the absence of the School Nurse, this position manages the health office. Duties include adhering to all COVID-19 health and safety protocols, triage, physical assessment, implementing health plans, responding to emergencies, and contacting parents, providers, and school staff as needed.We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: - Must hold a valid Vermont RN license.- Two years of nursing with pediatric experience is preferred but not required.- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student incidences and records- Willingness and availability to work on short notice to cover unanticipated absences (e.g.: the morning of)This position pays $35/per hour.
