The impact you will make:*

The Summer Aide provides a variety of direct and non-direct care duties in an intermittent seasonal position under close supervision. In the scope of his/her role, the Summer Aide participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu following the lead of the cottage counselors. This seasonal role provides additional support to the therapeutic milieu often in a role as a fun adult to engage in activities with. A Summer Aide is a role that different positions utilize in a variety of settings varying from 24/7 Residential Program to summer programs for School Based or Family Based services. This role may be utilized for paid internships for college level students. The Summer Aide position is largely distinguished from direct care roles by the major assignment of providing support functions and limited responsibility in carrying out therapeutic interventions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:*

Skills and abilities are typically acquired through graduation from high school or GED.

  • Preference for applicants with two years post-secondary study in a social science or closely-related field.
  • The Residential program requires applicants to be 21 years of age to meet State Licensing Regulations.
  • Requires a Montana Driver’s License.
