Summer ELA/Math Teachers Job at Modern Chinese School
Our summer program has been a staple of the Flushing community for over 25 years. We are located at JHS 189Q and will run from July 5 to August 18, 2023. More information can be found on our website at www.nymcs.org. We are currently seeking talented teachers for the following classes:
Grades PK/K-7 ELA / Math
Grade 8 SHSAT
Grade 9 PSAT
Grade 10+ SAT
Preferences:
- Degree or pursuing in Education-related field (student teachers welcome, licensed teacher a plus)
- leadership skills to engage a group of 10-25 students
- comfortable creating and editing lesson plans and materials
- productive, courteous, and empathetic when interacting with students, family, and colleagues
- available Monday through Friday afternoons
Opportunities in our After School and Saturday programs during the school year are also available for well-qualified candidates.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Flushing, NY 11355: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
