Our Crisis Services team has a newly opened position for Supervisor, Crisis Hotline. The Supervisor, Crisis Hotline provides supervision and administrative oversight of 24 X 7 Crisis Hotline Specialists, Volunteers and Interns. This position requires clinical care and administrative oversite as well as direct service. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, the Supervisor will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health to our clients. More specifically, this position is responsible for:

  • Providing clinical and administrative supervision of staff.
  • Teaching, coaching and developing staff to learn how to implement Hotline Services.
  • Offering trauma informed support and guidance to callers experiencing mental health concerns to develop problem resolution.
  • Providing immediate telephone crisis management to callers identified at risk for suicide or any other mental health emergency to assist in stabilization of caller.
  • Employing active listening techniques to assist callers in de-escalating from mental health issues/concerns.
  • Supplying appropriate linkages to all needed services and other community resources.
  • Providing accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work/Mental Health or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • LSW, LPC, or RN licensure required. LISW or LPCC preferred.
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience required.
  • Two (2) years of management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience training and preforming employee evaluations highly desirable.
  • Full-time hours, Monday through Friday with flexibility for some Evening and Weekend Hours, thus must have ability to work a flexible schedule as dictated by programmatic needs.
