Lutron has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Specialist - Materials Planner out of our World Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this position, you will be a key part of the Supply Chain operations team, driving continuous improvement of inventory levels globally. You will create optimization models by integrating the purchasing teams across production sites and leveraging materials planning systems. Additionally, through the determination of optimal MRP parameters, you will enhance purchasing planning output. The insights you gain through data analytics and the creation of simulation models will be used towards identifying and leading inventory improvement initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the optimization of the inbound supply chain operation and network design. There are a variety of experiences you will be involved with from day one, including:

• Identifying and leading inventory optimization initiatives across corporate offices and production sites
• Working as the supply chain planner to ensure the materials pipeline is aligned with business needs
• Managing raw material inventory levels to optimize inventory and pipeline risk
• Working closely with the purchasing teams, as well as with production sites to develop the supply chain competencies for future business

Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Minimum of one year experience in supply chain planning
