Duties
- Assists in surgical procedures, not limited to Embryo Transfers, Egg Retrieval, Dilatation and Curettage, Hysteroscopy, Paracentesis, Vasectomy Reversal, TESA, Micro TESA, Varicocelectomy, & FNA Mapping
- Knowledgeable of proper aseptic technique and set up/use of equipment.
- Prepares surgical set up and field in accordance with AST guidelines.
- Scrubs in accordance with AST guidelines.
- Processes instruments according to SRMs Policies and Procedures and instrument IFUs and AAMI sterilization guidelines.
- Cleans and cares for all equipment according to OSHA and manufacturer's IFUs
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration without enforcement action.
