Surveyor / Relocation Consultant Job at Royal Hawaiian Movers
Royal Hawaiian Movers, Inc. has an immediate opening for a qualified Surveyor with some experience in moving and transportation. The Surveyor will be responsible for going to the offsite location, evaluating the furniture items, to include weight and size and noting those items. The Ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail. We are an essential, family owned company with plenty of future growth opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs surveys for local, office, and international household goods and freight moves
- Sends out quotes on surveys and follows up with customers
- Answers any queries which the client may have about the moving process
- Answers phone and walk-in inquiries for moving services
- Prospect, establish, and maintain relationships with customers to create opportunities for future and sustainable business
- Maintain CRM
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Ability to operate a tablet PC during face-to-face surveys
- Must have valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to perform surveys
- Most have a friendly and positive attitude
- Flexible hours available
- Attention to detail
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some moving and transportation experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service experience required
- An understanding of the island, traffic patterns and travel times and distances
