Moshi Moshi is a busy Japanese restaurant offering the best sushi in the heart of historic Ballard. We are looking for great people to join our sushi team and learn from our highly experienced head sushi chef. You will be working directly with our head sushi chef developing new menu items, breaking down fish, fulfilling orders, and helping to manage the sushi team during service. The right candidate must have a passion for food, cleanliness, and customer service to provide our guests with the best dining experience.

This position is available as both a full-time and part-time role.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years sushi experience, including rolls/maki, breaking down fish, nigiri/sashimi, etc.
• Dedicated, with a strong work ethic
• Willing to listen, learn, and follow directions
• Extreme sense of teamwork, even under high-stress situations, and being cool under pressure
• Knowledgeable about food safety rules
• Excellent communication skills (English required, Spanish helpful)

Hourly base wage ($22 to $28/hr) depending on experience + shared tips (average ~$5-$7/hr extra) for a range of $27 to $35/hr. We strive to keep schedules consistent week to week. Subsidized bus pass (ORCA card), holiday pay, dental insurance, telemedicine, and other benefits offered.
