The QA Blender, using the proper instruction and ingredients, prepares syrup for the production lines. Will also be trained and monitored to adhere to all aspects of food safety and the food safety program.

Wis-Pak, a nationally recognized leader in the manufacture and distribution of Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Bubbl'r, Klarbrunn and other leading beverages, is currently accepting applications for full-time QA Blenders at its Dyersburg, Tennessee location.

The hours for this position will be 3rd shift, 10:00pm to 6:30am Monday through Thursday with the potential for overtime and weekend work should production needs dictate.

QA Blender

The QA Blender, using the proper instruction and ingredients, prepares syrup for the production lines. Will also be trained and monitored to adhere to all aspects of food safety and the food safety program.

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Follow proper instructions set by the parent companies, batch syrup so that it meets quality standards.
2. Perform daily raw material usage inventory.
3. Maintain records and files of batch codes and ingredients.
4. Assist with microbiological samples and tests.
5. Assist with lab duties, when available.
6. Comply with all quality, safety and sanitation regulations.
7. Comply with all quality, plant and food safety, HACCP, GMP and sanitation regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent
Requires good communication skills.
Requires close attention to detail.
Requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Must have the ability to problem solve.
Computer skills helpful.
Able to read, write and follow directions.
Able to work unsupervised.
Must be able to stand and walk 8-10 hours.
Must be able to read and write English, as well as be able to understand spoken English.
