Currently, DPRA is searching for a System Administrator in our USTRANCOM client site office at Scott AFB in Illinois. This full-time mid-level position will be responsible for maintaining virtual computing platforms and applications operating in a SIPR Enclave.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or any equivalent experience and 5 years of similar or related professional working experience or a minimum of 10 years’ technical expertise as a System Administrator or Network Engineer
• Must be able to obtain a DoD TOP SECRET clearance
• Ability to support and manage Windows Server 2019 and newer Active Directory
• Ability to configure, manage and maintain MS Certificate Services
• Ability to support and manage key systems and services including but not limited to the following; ADFS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Apache, PHP, RabbitMQ, MS Network Load Balancing, and File & Print Services in a pure Windows environment
• Ability to configure, manage, & maintain MS Remote Desktop Services and RemoteApps; including Remote Desktop Web Services, Remote Desktop Gateway, and HA Remote Desktop Connection Brokers
• Experience in all aspects of configuring and maintaining Windows security via Local Security & Domain Group Policy as well as via application configuration files (IIS, Apache, PHP, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of VMware (vCenter, ESXi)
• Demonstrated knowledge of supporting Windows Server Operating System (2019) and demonstrated knowledge of SPLUNK Enterprise for log collection, correlation and analytics
• Advanced understanding of Windows PowerShell
• Experience in patch management of servers in various environments
• Experience implementing and testing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
• Experience with Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools
• Experience with Nessus scans, reviewing results, working findings through to resolution and documenting corrective actions
• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+)
• Microsoft SQL Server (2017, 2019) database experience
• + Manage and Maintain Databases
• + Monitor SQL Server Logs and Audits
• + Perform Ad-Hoc queries as requested

Preferred Qualifications:

• MCSE (DBA or Systems Administrator) Certification
• Relevant military experience
