Quality Systems Administrator -Day Shift standard Mon. to Fri. 8 am - 5 pm.

The Quality Systems Administrator directs the company's Quality Management System [QMS] and is tasked with ensuring that the QMS conforms to the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9120.

The QSA reports to the President.

Key Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:

Quality Planning - setting quality metrics and objectives along with specifying operational processes and resources needed to fulfil quality objectives.

Quality Systems Performance - measurement and recording of quality performance and effectivity, on time delivery, product quality, sig sigma customer acceptance, and applying procedural changes to improve quality performance and meet quality objectives.

Quality Systems Document Control - maintaining records and revisions of QMS controlled documents such as employee training, operating procedures, work instructions, quality manual, audit results, preventative actions, corrective actions, and forms. Ensuring that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to it are planned and implemented.

Maintaining Accreditation - maintaining AS9100, AS9120, ISO9001 accreditation through compliance to these standards. Coordinating and preparing for internal and external audits.

Management Representative for quality audits.

Regulatory Registration and Compliance - JCP, DPAS flow downs, Customer Approvals, Customer Compliance (Conflict Minerals, REACH and ROHS Reporting along with any other regulation compliance as required by the customer). DFARS - Ensure DFARS applicable to TranSpec are included in necessary documents and training of such. Maintain sam.gov registration. Export Control - Maintain Export Control Compliance Program based on current legislations and training of such. Maintain ITAR registration with the DDTC.

Supplier Quality Management - quality requirements communication and coordination, along with supplier ratings.

Customer Quality Requirements - customer quality systems surveys and customer requests for QMS additions and changes. Customer quality system and purchase requirements compliance. Implementing and auditing customer driven corrective actions.

Process Improvement - Pursuing continual improvement through QMS and efficient processes. Driving improvement in processes and transactions. Generating preventative actions and 5S Methodology. Owning 5S +Safety across the entire organization.

Skills Required to perform the essential functions of this job:

Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or AS9120 document content, requirements, and auditing process

Mathematical proficiency

Critical thinking and decision-making skills

Computer proficiency and MS Office Suite

Interpersonal and communication skills

Organizational skills; document control and consistency

Good oral and formal writing communication skills required

Preferred Experience:

Experience as a Quality Systems Administrator, Quality Systems Analyst, Quality Systems Specialist, Quality Systems Coordinator or in a quality-related position assisting a Quality Systems Manager

Experience in process improvement of quality systems in the fastener industry

Experience performing onsite quality system audits

Experience in a quality systems or quality engineering department
