Quality Manufacturing Corporation, a fast-paced, metal fabrication company is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their IT team. This position is responsible for the Quality Manufacturing corporate network, storage, and related systems. The position works with other team members ensuring that all components of the corporate network are operational and secure.

Education, Experience, Skills:

Education

• High School Graduate/G.E.D
• 2-4 year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent job experience preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of prior experience in Systems Administration preferred
• Virtualization experience, especially with VMWare Horizon, preferred

Skills Preferred

• Strong communication skills
• Skilled in communication of complex technical information in an easy to understand manner to others
• Must be detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with others
• A self-starter, who follows through with projects
• Ability to work with and meet deadline schedules
• Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation

Duties and Knowledge:

• Monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of corporate equipment and services
• Installation, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of different server platforms using VMWare virtualization technology
• Active Directory management to include creation and maintenance of user accounts, security permissions, and file systems
• Maintains permissions on file and folder structure
• Assists in monthly patching of servers
• Assists in monitoring backup server; researches and reports any errors
• Checks server log files as needed for issues
• Responsible for monitoring and enforcing corporate data security policies
• Provides second level end user support on issues related to server access
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
