Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for various talent acquisition and recruitment activities within the Human Resources Department. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources with a company that can provide opportunities for growth and development. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead and will support the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, effectively conduct prescreening interviews, attend job fairs, generate leads utilizing passive candidate outreach, and engage local community and vocational organizations to build and sustain a talent pipeline within our ATS. The successful candidate can take initiative to proactively resolve issues while making informed decisions in a timely manner.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the recruitment team to identify internal talent and source diverse external talent through formal and informal networks, platforms, and job boards.
  • Engage regularly with hiring managers, conduct thorough intake sessions, clarify staffing needs and responsibilities, and ensure job descriptions and job postings are up to date and accurately reflect the skills and abilities required for the role.
  • Provide hiring managers with accurate and timely updates on applicant activity, track talent acquisition metrics, and report trends or issues to TA Lead, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Responsible for critical steps of the recruitment process within the ATS including but not limited to closing requisitions, updating candidate records, input candidate data as necessary, initiating pre-employment activities etc. Ensure all ATS fields are populated accurately and correctly to achieve full utilization of tracking system to measure all key TA metrics.
  • Familiarize the recruiting team with opportunities and mediums to find talent within budgetary requirements and talent standards.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with candidates and develop a strong bench of prescreened applicants.
  • Act as a brand ambassador to create and promote a world class candidate experience.
  • Represent Medallion externally and virtually at job fairs and other recruiting events and serve as a cultural steward with the utmost integrity and strong focus on quality relationships.
  • Create a strong brand identity using e-mail, web and social media recruiting campaigns.
  • Network, source, and partner with local and community agencies and vocational organizations to support an external hiring pipeline.
  • Create various marketing materials to support employer brand, values, and career progression.
  • Look for opportunities to brand and promote the company in new markets as well as in the areas of highest demand.
  • Identify external talent from a variety of sources and serve as a resource to recruiters and hiring managers to find and cultivate candidates.
  • Gather data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact our ability to find and hire the right talent.
  • Challenge the status quo through meaningful data that informs a better and stronger recruiting process.
  • Serve as a back-up to Office Administrator as needed and directed.
  • Assist with general Human Resources projects as directed by the Human Resources Manager and/or Director of Human Resources.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Human Resources Manager or Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to organize processes, manage paperwork, schedules, timelines, deadlines and prioritize effectively. Strong multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, communicate and interpret documents such as policies, regulations, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Proficient in solving practical problems and dealing with variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist and can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate proficiency and aptitude in Microsoft Office applications and Applicant Tracking System platforms.

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish
  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition preferably in a similar industry and/or market.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with high-level customers.
  • Intermediate proficiency and aptitude with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
  • Able to meet the physical requirements and essential functions of the role, with or without an accommodation, for example, frequent standing and walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, carrying, or pushing objects, occasional reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in varying temperature environments (internal and external parts of the building)

This position is located in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation: $28.85 - $31.25 (hourly)

Schedule time is Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00PM // WEEKENDS OFF!!!
