Talent Strategy Specialist & Facilitator Job at Road to Hire
Road to Hire is adding a Talent Strategy Specialist & Facilitator to our growing team. This person will design, build and facilitate a learning program focused on developing college talent for high-earning STEM and business careers.
Ideal candidates will possess a fun, positive, energetic attitude and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. A first-hand understanding of the skills needed to be successful in a high-earning STEM/Business career is required. This position will have an immediate impact on Road to Hire and daily exposure to the students that R2H supports. Additionally, the Talent Strategy Specialist & Facilitator should be motivated by the opportunity to develop and create opportunities for unemployed and underemployed young adults in our community.
What You'll Do:
- Design, build and facilitate a program focused on developing college talent for high-earning STEM/Business careers;
- Work 1 on 1 with college freshmen through college seniors through STEM/Business career coaching and advising
- Build and facilitate curriculum while inspiring classes of 30-40 college students
- Identify current gaps/opportunities with students and proactively pivot approaches to address needs through individual coaching and group learning experiences
- Build strong relationships with students and supporting staff
- Plan and facilitate student visits to partner or prospective partner employers.
- Own tracking data, measurement and reporting of student progress
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in designing, building, and facilitating content centered around skills needed to be successful in high-earning STEM careers
- Strong preference for individuals with experience
- Implementing and facilitating learning experiences for college students or college new hires
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Recruiting Needs with prior corporate staffing, recruiting or STEM/Business experience
- Expertise in skills needed for STEM/Business Roles
- Results Driver that has the aptitude to make real-time decisions, measure results and change course when necessary.
- Accountable utility player with exceptional communication skills and strong organizational skills
- Growth Mindset with the ability to identify gaps/challenges and develop specific accountability/support plans to build and facilitate strong content.
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to quickly build trust with a wide variety of different stakeholders and facilitate content to groups up to 60 students in-person or virtually.
- Comfortable working autonomously.
- Excited to be in person at least 3 days a week (Either on R2H's campus or onsite at a college campus)
- Passionate about creating employment opportunities for underserved young adults.
Compensation:
- Cash Compensation Range: $70,000-$80,000*
- Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
