Job Location: Altamonte Springs, FL
The role you’ll contribute:
This is a staff-level position with duties primarily consisting of income tax return preparation, basic to intermediate tax research and preparation of correspondence.
The value that you bring to the team:
- Participate in the annual update of electronic Tax Information Reporting Packets as assigned
- Prepare income tax returns (Forms 990, 1120, and 1065) using tax preparation software and an electronic workpaper package
- Conduct basic to intermediate-level technical research using on-line research tools
- Prepare correspondence as assigned (i.e. responses to notices received from taxing authorities)
- Complete state registrations and similar questionnaires/surveys as assigned
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficient in CCH Axess and Excel
- Familiar with CCH Research/BNA
- One to four years of work experience in an accounting related field
