Blue Arc is seeking a qualified Assistant Technical Project Manager for an exciting new program with a US DoD customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a positive, customer-focused mission.

As an Assistant Technical Project Manager, you will support the team with compiling mission, vendor, and acquisition data and visualizations to better understand Army program needs, goals, and objectives. The ideal candidate has good organizational skills, can work with multiple projects/schedules, and is willing to identify problems and provide recommendations to keep a program on track. You will be part of the project management team to meet the objectives of several Army intelligence software system engineering efforts. You will assist in developing plans to support the daily activities of the customer. The customer is located in the Aberdeen Proving Ground area, but some of this work can be done remotely.

Candidates should be comfortable with Army or DoD intelligence programs and related systems. You may be required to attend additional training as needed and support all project activities in relation to program analysis.

Duties include the following:

  • Assist the Government Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operations of several projects.
  • Plan and manage tasks across multiple projects.
  • Assist project team in developing and maintain operational tempo to ensure all aspects of the projects stay on track.
  • Coordinate responses to stakeholders and vendors.
  • Build presentations.
  • Provide executive summaries for leadership of events and meetings. Gather and analyze information to develop regular program status reports.
  • Identify trends, atypical situations, or other issues that may require special consideration or procedures.
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities while supporting the various process owners.
  • Ensure adherence to Army requirements and security considerations.
  • Coordinate and manage meetings.
  • Ensure document review and approval occur in a timely manner as dictated by program management.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 or more years of hands-on engineering and/or project management experience in a DoD C5ISR environment.
  • Experience with DoD intelligence environments preferred.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong attention to detail and follow through with the ability to handle multiple, complex tasks, and establish priorities.
  • Experience in writing supporting DoD documents.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
