JOB SPECS:
Title: Security Officer for Harvard Commencement (TEMP with possibility of PERM)
Location: Harvard University (Cambridge, MA)
Rate: $23.07/hour
Duration of Assignment: Month of May. **MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MAY 24th-25th.**
GENERAL JOB DUTIES
- Provide professional customer service to all attendees of ceremony
- Access control (entrance and exit) to commencement ceremony
- Conduct bag checks and use of metal detectors
- Conduct foot patrols of Harvard property to include interior / exterior of grounds.
- Respond to emergency situations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS(Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.)
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable means of communication and transportation
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Willingness to participate in the company’s stringent pre-employment screening process
