The Grafton Job Corps is seeking a Temporary School Cafeteria Manager to join our team! This will be a 3-5 month full-time position starting in June 2023.

We are a vocational training school that assists 16-24 years old students with academic and career training. We help them obtain jobs in their trade (i.e. Nursing, Plumbing, Security, etc.) when they separate from the program.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the supervision and management of the food service area

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Center food preparation activities.
• Manage the dining room, student monitors, student behavior and Food Service department.
• Ensures quality control, plan menus, coordinate food purchases and manages food service's budget.
• Ensures sanitation compliance and the overall cleanliness of all food service areas.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Management/Supervision:

Supervises and manages all kitchen/food service staff.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree from an accredited school and one year of management/supervisory experience required. Degree requirement may be substituted with 5 years Food Service Supervisory Experience. Three to five years in institutional food preparation and technical training preferred. Must have or be able to obtain ServSafe credentials.
