Territories Covered: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, parts of Tennessee and Arkansas

Summary

Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is looking to recruit a Territory Executive to join a growing sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Protects, cultivates, manages, and maintains strong business relationships within designated corporate IDN’s, hospitals, and respective key pharmacy staff members
  • Develops and implements business plans to promote Nexus generic and specialty products to all key accounts through process of best practices
  • Achieves sales objectives for the company’s products in territory assigned
  • Gathers and records individual account market data, through daily input into company’s system database and reporting daily activities in Salesforce.com
  • Collaborates with all appropriate corporate departments to provide customers with a top-quality level of service
  • Prospects and qualifies new accounts to convert customers to the Nexus brand
  • Reviews product usage reports for corporate accounts to identify trends and uncover additional sales opportunities
  • Optimizes sales via Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s) contract pull through and education on product features and advantages
  • Manages territory selling expenses within the Travel & Entertainment policy
  • Prepares and transmits required administrative work (Salesforce reports, expense reports, etc.) in accordance with company policies and in a timely manner
  • Fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and builds strong working relationships with all members of the Nexus Team
  • Territory includes the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, parts of Tennessee and Arkansas
  • Overnight travel requirement: Approximately 50%
  • Other related assignments or duties as assigned by management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines
  • Extremely strong organizational, project management, communication, analytical, Excel and customer service skills

Education or experience:

  • BA/BS required from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 1-3 years of successful, proven direct hospital related sales experience preferred or 3-5 years of non-hospital specific direct sales experience accepted
  • Experience in generic sales a plus

Travel Requirements:

  • 25-50% travel required for this role

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular exertion including standing/walking for extended periods of time
  • Lifting/carrying more than 15 and up to 25 pounds
  • At times low physical effort includes sitting, and operating computers or other small equipment

Pay: $69,098.05 - $80,272.48 per year
