Vision therapists work under the direction and supervision of a doctor of optometry (OD) who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision dysfunction.
Our therapists work closely with patients on a weekly basis using activities and techniques that improve the coordination between the brain and the visual system. Although we see patients of all ages, our therapists commonly work with children and young adults.
While no previous experience in the field of optometry is necessary, applicants must be willing to learn about the human visual system and the practical application of vision therapy techniques. Applicants do not need to have a degree in order to apply for this position, but we are looking for someone with a solid work ethic and willingness to study and learn.
Vision therapy requires the planning and implementation of vision therapy activities and techniques, often with young children who require close management and direction. We are looking for applicants who are willing to show dedication and interest in this field and are excited to become part of the eye care community.
This position is full time, but may start out part time during training as the schedule permits. Our therapists work Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm. Job applications are welcome on site Mon-Thurs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We ask that you bring your application in person.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
