Full Job Description
Previous experience scheduling Therapist for home health therapy visits is required, no exceptions as of this time.
The Therapy Coordinator is responsible for therapy management for Amatus Healthcare. The duties of this position are as follows, but not limited to:
- The Therapy Coordinator will achieve specific patient care, customer service, and financial objectives through effective scheduling of staff according to patient care needs
- Maintains professional conduct, including positive levels of interaction and rapport with facilities and clients
- Communicate and coordinate department functions with other services in a constructive manner that promotes team rapport and effectiveness
- Communicate effectively with administration regarding department programs, goals, objectives, risks, and successes
- Monitoring therapy emails
- Monitoring/Responding to communication notes in patient charts from therapy companies
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of Infection Control/Falls
- Monitoring Therapy Utilization
- Monitoring/Preventing LUPAs
- Balancing HHRG scores with therapy utilizations
- Faxing missed visits/discharges on therapy only patients to Physicians
- Monitoring missed visits for therapy
- Coordinate with appropriate staff for scheduling SOC/ROCS/Recerts/Discharges
- Coordinating with Authorization Department for insurance patients.
- Coordinating with Physician offices for Recert requests
- Attaching therapy consents
- Any and all additional task assigned.
