Based in beautiful Grandville, MI, we are an industry leading metal stamping facility offering diverse products for industrial hardware, automotive, and safety/security industries. Due to recent growth and demand for our products, we are in need of a Tool and Die maker for our 2nd shift operations.
Based in beautiful Grandville, MI, we are an industry leading metal stamping facility offering diverse products for industrial hardware, automotive, and safety/security industries. Due to recent growth and demand for our products, we are in need of a Tool and Die maker for our 2nd shift operations.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for creating angles and radii on all tooling to create high quality, tight tolerance parts.
What You Need for this Position
Must Have :
Nice to Have :
- Completion of a state or federally approved apprenticeship program with a journeyman card.
- proven build and tryout skills in progressive dies.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D prints or 3D CAD designs and apply the designed concept to raw materials.
- machine skills such as mill, lathe, drill press, and grinder as well as hand working skills.
- Must possess own set of die making and machinist tools.
Nice to Have :
- welding experience
