Here at Orion Group, we are currently seeking a Training Specialist to join our market-leading pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Lake County.

To be successful as the Training Specialist, the candidate chosen must be able to utilize accurate and complete record keeping to manage requests and complete on a first come, first serve basis. You must also have advanced LMS experience to be considered!

Other Responsibilities that the Training Specialist will need to manage are:

• Tracking and reporting of open, in process, and completed requests will be maintained and provided on a weekly basis.
• Training requirements will be update to the Learning Management System (LMS). This will involve determining the type of request, running reports from the LMS and exporting output to Excel.
• Using skills in Excel such as text to columns. VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and formatting data for analysis.
• Identified in the Excel report which training modules will be updated with new training content.
• When necessary, training credit will be entered into the LMS for individuals that already completed training in the past.
• Reporting on complete tasks will be performed by an to verify accuracy and completeness of each activity performed.

To be successful in this position the Training Specialist must have 2yrs of work experience using Excel (text to columns, VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, and formatting data for analysis.), LMS experience- iSOtrain or compliance wire administrator experience. Previous training experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred, and experience developing and implementing course curriculums, assessments, testing and other processes to ensure the effectiveness of the learning and development activities.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems
• Excellent communication written and verbal skills
• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
