Transaction Specialist

We at Carolina Acquisition Partners (CAP) Management are looking for a Transaction
Specialist to join our office team and assist with the accounting duties at our High Point location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing office tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of the office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Specialist will also be required to stay up-to-date on office policies and procedures and provide assistance to other staff members as needed. KEY RESULT AREAS

● Manage office operations and procedures.
● Maintain office supplies inventory.
● Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
● Provide general administrative support.
● Answer and direct phone calls.
● Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
● Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
● Managing AR and AP: this includes collections, recording of transactions and executing timely and accurate entry of vendor bills

Transaction Specialist

● Maintaining financial records: entering journal entries as prepared by the
Controller, executing month-end close procedures, and maintaining reconciled schedules of assets and accumulated depreciation.

● Asset transactions: Entering assets required, making JEs, and maintaining reconciled schedules of assets and accumulated depreciation

● Balancing/reconciling electronic and paper documentation
● Analyzing information to determine accuracy and completeness of work

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience.
● 1-2 years of equivalent work experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.

LOCATION

Transaction Specialist

Carolina Acquisition Partners (CAP) has strategic partnerships with various organizations that allows us to gain efficiencies for the businesses we acquire, manage, and grow, subsequently providing an expeditious ROI for our lenders.. The main office is located in High Point, NC. The Transaction Specialist position has the the ability to maintain a hybrid work schedule with the ability to come into the corporate office 2-3 days a week.
