Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12:30am
Compensation: $28.87/hour

Compensation:*

  • Direct deposit of bi-monthly pay dates with an hourly rate of $28.87

You will partner with:*

  • General Manager of Direct Operations
  • Training & Safety Manager, Service Manager
  • Control Center Manager
  • King County Metro Staff

An example of what you will be doing:*

  • Operate DART vehicles as needed to cover routes when drivers are absent.
  • Ensure that the hiring, training and performance review processes produced desired strategic results.
  • Train and orient drivers. Monitor and evaluate drivers for retraining as necessary.
  • Work in collaboration with Operations Manager, Director, and Human Resources on employee disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor service areas and routes connected to the Community Connections Service including the Trail Head Direct.
  • Troubleshoot destinations, routes, scheduling, vehicle and/or driver issues as they arise.
  • Conduct accident/incident investigations in the field. Ensure all reports are completed accurately and are distributed to required recipients.
  • Manage fleet vehicle maintenance schedules, assists with program data (manifests, reports, surveys for Metro, etc.) and fare collection reporting.
