Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of medical supplies, radiology films, diagnostic specimens, medical records, pharmacy medications and currency pick-ups between MGH, Marion Area Health Center, Marion Ancillary Services and Barks Road Office Building, utilizing a hospital vehicle while observing all governing regulations. Position must support overall mission of the hospital while emphasizing customer service. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, performing duties in accordance to department policies/ procedures and providing prompt responses to customer needs. Assists in storeroom functions as workload requires and time permits.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)DL - Driver's License - Department of Motor VehiclesWork requires a High school level of skills and no previous Experience , plus less than one month of time on the job. Valid State Driver's License. Work requires the analytical skills to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make relatively straight forward comparisons between numbers and letters. Work requires the communication skills necessary to exchange information on factual matters, understand and transmit instructions, and perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills. Work requires maintaining appropriate paperwork for the position. Work requires organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Work requires ability to deal with stressful situations and constant interruptions. Work is performed in accordance with specific and detailed instruction or procedures.
