Sovereign Staffing is hiring for Transportation Goods Warehouse Associates in Edgerton, KS

The Transportation Goods Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling a variety of transportation goods orders for individual consumers and businesses, such as trailer hitches, fifth wheel landing gear, trailer jacks, and more. They will perform these duties while using a variety of order-selecting equipment.

All Transportation Goods Warehouse Associates should be comfortable with working in a fast pace setting and open to learning and using different equipment to fulfill orders. Our Transportation Goods Warehouse Associates work 8-10 hour shifts Mon-Fri. No Equipment Operator experience is required for our non-equipment operator positions.

You must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Be able to successfully fulfill transportation good orders.
• Be able to successfully use order selecting equipment or learn to do so.
• Follow an order-filling sheet.
• Navigate around a warehouse
• Be able to operate a variety of RF scanners to track all product movement
• Strives to increase technical skills through attendance at company-sponsored vocational schools, annual training meetings of departmental personnel, and reading of technical literature.
• Promotes and enhances company image by maintaining a neat, personal appearance and by keeping the equipment in a clean, polished, and orderly condition.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Some warehouse experience
• Oerderfilling exsperience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to add and subtract
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Transportation Goods Warehouse Associate is regularly required but not limited to: stooping, bending, walking, standing, and capability of lifting up to 50 pounds
