Traveling Medical Scribe Job at Alliance Spine & Joint
Looking for a full-time traveling medical scribe to work in a fast paced orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery practice.
Position Summary:
The primary duty of the medical scribe is to accompany the physician traveling to different locations in South Florida (Plantation, Miami (Kendall), Hallandale, WPB, & PSL) into the exam room in order to document each patient's interaction with the doctor. A knowledge of electronic medical records and medical terminology required. We assist with review reports for errors to get the reports ready for billing. Must have highly efficient organization experience, be able to work in a fast based environment, generate and review medical reports in a timely and correct manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Documenting patient encounter using the EHR system.
- Data entry for previous encounters, labs, imaging, test results directed by the provider.
- Assist in obtaining imaging reports need to complete medical report.
- Review reports for errors and cross reference billing packet for errors
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have scribe experience PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT EXPERIENCE!
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to concentrate and work independently with minimal or no supervision.
