Truck/Cargo Van Driver (part-time) Job at G.W. Noble Trucking, LLC
We are seeking a part-time truck driver to join our team! G. W. Noble Trucking is a United States Mail Contractor and has been hauling mail since 1971. This position is perfect for someone who lives in or around Fayetteville, WV and has the flexibility to cover a short mail route between postal facilities. With this position, you may be able to work five or six days a week depending upon your work ethic, and it has the opportunity to be converted into a dedicated, full-time route. You will be responsible for safely operating a cargo van between postal facilities. No CDL required. This is a short route that's only about 4 hours per day--split with 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a motor vehicle to transport mail
- Load and unload truck with or without helpers
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Make minor vehicle repairs and keep vehicle in good working order
- Report any issues or incidents to management
- Properly track and document activity log
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Good driving record
- Full background investigation by the Postal Service
- Strong work ethic
- Available in emergency situations and holiday coverage as needed
