Stutsman Transportation, Inc. is a for-hire, dry van trucking company that’s been around for over 87 years and we are looking for Class CDL A drivers for over the road transportation. Our dispatching staff has worked for Stutsman Transportation on average of 16 years, two of which started out as drivers themselves. Not only do they know the industry inside and out, but they understand what it’s like to be behind the wheel. Located in Hills, Iowa, we are conveniently located just off of Highway 218 and Interstate 80 in the heart of Southeast Iowa. We pride ourselves in having less than 10% turnover and an average employee tenure of 6 years. From road warriors to those who value time at home, our drivers are ordinarily out for 5-7 days at a time while enjoying the benefits below.

STARTING BASE PAY RATE: $0.52 PER MILE (BASED ON PC MILER PRACTICAL)

ANNUAL INCREASES: $.005 (half a penny) PER MILE;

PERFORMANCE-BASED

DETENTION: $15.00 PER HOUR AFTER 2 HOURS

LAYOVER: $50.00 IF UNLOADED BY NOON

HAZMAT PAY: PAYS AN ADDITIONAL .04 CENTS PER MILE

($50 MINIMUM)

WEEKEND RUNS: OUTBOUND FROM IOWA PAYS AN

ADDITIONAL .04 CENTS PER MILE

EXTRA DROP PAY: $20.00 FOR ANY ADDITIONAL
