Trust Accounting #23-068 Job at State of South Carolina
Under general supervision of the Trust Accounting Supervisor, provides technical and professional services in Offender Account Review, the Administrative Monitoring and Trust Accounting. Responsible for creating new AM accounts as required and maintaining existing offender AM accounts in the Offender Management System (OMS). Assist with the Unclaimed Process by creating folders, entering and maintaining information on the Master Unclaimed Database, assist with researching victim accounts for unclaimed to transfer funds to Office of AG-DCVC and to transfer funds to the agency’s unclaimed holding account. Responsible for researching returned letters and or checks from the sections of the Offender Account Review, the Administrative Monitoring and victims.
A high school diploma and entry-level experience in accounting or bookkeeping. A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for required work experience.
