GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program, which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training.

GDIT has an immediate opening for a LUH/UH-72A SME/Quality Analyst Advisor in Daleville, AL. Experience in Project Management, Army Material Acquisition programs and/or processes, Department of Defense modeling, simulation and technology requirements is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.

• Conducts evaluation of software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification, and validation

• Contributes and provides guidance on the completion of quality assurance projects.

• Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality.

• Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.

• Identifies potential risks and compliance issues and provides innovative solutions.

• Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.

• Reviews software systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.

• Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

• Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.

• Provides ongoing analytics, identifying issues related to a variety of non-technical and technical project deliverable(s)

• Conducts research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues

• Provides guidance for the quality trainings and the quality testing documentation process.

• Coordinates and prepares program reports.

• Prepares operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

Required Qualification:

• BS or equivalent and 8 yrs of related experience; 6+ years of experience in a UH-72A as a Standardization Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Test Pilot is also required.

• U.S. Army Aviation Instructor Pilot or U.S. Army Aviation Maintenance Test Pilot

• Simulation Systems test, verification, and validation

• Skilled in personal computer, Microsoft Office software (Including MS Project) and data repository software.

• Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good planning and organizational skills
